Great food, friendly helpful staff and a great place for older people like my Mum with a Walker. Also quiet to enjoy good conversations.
Had an impromptu lunch chicken parmigiana X 2 tasty and good price they even gave me a free beer
Nice old hotel. Main courses big on portions less so on flavour but reasonable nonetheless. If you're not starving you might want to consider the starters.
Went here to celebrate our 43rd anniversary, both our meals were excellent, my porterhouse steak was amazing, when we go out for a meal we always go here because we never come away disappointed.Sadly went back to Furness Hotel with family and high expectations, after ordering it took over an hour to receive our meal, (only after reminding them). My porterhouse steak was like a piece of rubber, sent the chips back as they were cold, the other three meals were not much better, cold chips and over cooked schnitzel. Very very disappointing as we go here often. Therefore my star review goes from a 5 to a 1
